Hi, I’m Marta 👋

I have music running through my vibrant Puerto Rican blood, and after my first spin class at the Y in 2013, I realized I’ve never felt more confident than when sprinting to my favorite songs alongside others. My passion for starting Rhythm & Ride started there. The loud music, the dark room, and the high energy was everything I didn’t know was missing from my workout routine. I continued to take classes religiously and added Certified Spin Instructor to my resume in 2015. I’d been a certified Barre instructor for years before that.

It wasn’t until 2019 that I considered opening my own cycling studio. Just in time for COVID to hit, hooray! Instead of letting it crush my dreams, I took it as an incredible opportunity. People were craving community, and a place to escape. After years of negotiations, hard work, blood, sweat and a TON of tears - 2023 all my dreams and hard work came to fruition and Rhythm & Ride finally had an opening date!

I genuinely love making people feel good about themselves through exercise.

The Soul Behind Rhythm & Ride

My goal is to attract people of all shapes, sizes, ages, genders, and experience levels to share a seat in the Rhythm & Ride room together.

I love helping people feel their best, and I go above and beyond to make sure everyone leaves the studio feeling good about themselves through exercise. Encouraging my riders is easily my favorite thing about teaching.

When I’m not working up a sweat, you can find me running around with my toddler, Connor, or cozying up with my husband, Dan, and our four-legged son Mowgli. I absolutely love spending time with my family, and I am so grateful that Rhythm & Ride allows me the flexibility to be there for the big moments.
